Michael has over 25 years healthcare experience with leading telecommunications, pharmaceutical and medical device organisations. He has extensive experience of mobile and digital Health, strategic marketing, market access, healthcare systems, service delivery, and clinical & non-clinical leadership/advocacy. And has developed and implemented high value projects, initiatives and partnerships across MENA, Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
Michael developed and led the GSMA’s mHealth Diabetes Programme on behalf of its 800 global telecom operators and associate membership. The successful programme supported global and local investment into mHealth. Bringing together NGOs, telecoms industry, commercial organisations and governmental agencies to consider how mHealth can improve healthcare outcomes with solutions and services which extend the reach of healthcare provision, increase access to high quality care, support clinical decisions and interventions, improve treatment compliance, and reduce costs. Encouraging regional and national partnerships to stimulate the development and delivery of clinically meaningful, scalable and replicable mHealth solutions and services.
